Day-long Retreat:Saturday, March 9th. This is a full day of teaching and meditation led by Sharda Rogell a lay woman meditation teacher at Spirit Rock California as well as other centers worldwide. The theme will be “Knowing One Taste” and sessions will start at 8:30am and end at 4:00pm. Lunch will be at 12:00. Bring a dish. All are welcome, both experienced and new, but you need to attend the entire day.

Children’s Dhamma:It would be helpful if you could register your interest. The 3rd Sunday of each month at 12:30 for a maximum of 2 hours. First class will be Sunday March 17th.
Boundaries:If you look at the bottom map , the yellow line is a dirt road. I drove here with the Reserves’ Manager on Thursday to look at the property. To establish equivalent areas of exchange new points of division have been suggested. The aim is to not come too close to the upper kuti [Vivekha]. It will take a while but the ball is well in play. Magha Puja:Sometimes called “Sangha Day” this commemorates the spontaneous gathering of 1,250 arahants with the Buddha. It was on this occasion that the Buddha delivered the “Ovada Patimokkha” which is recited by monks on every uposatha. The full moon is on Monday but we will celebrate on Sunday 24th.
Carpark Concrete:The fence alongside the kitchen needs a concrete nib wall. view photos It is planned to pour this (using redi-mix) maybe Wed. or Thu. 13/14, this week. If you had time to help Ajahn Kusalo that would be great as there are currently no male guests. Probably after lunch, around 2pm, for an hour or so. Phone or email the monastery.
Ajahn Tiradhammo:We are organising a visit during May – currently 8th to 26th. This will mean he will be with us for Vesak on the 19th. It is still some time away and this is just so you can make plans to meet with him.
