Songkran – New Year:Sunday April 20th – 9.45am. Songkran is a celebration of the Southeast Asian New Year. Water is involved ๐ – most respectfully, bathing the monastery Buddha statues and the hands of the monks. There may well be other libations. New Kutis:The weather has turned. Rain. And still John the builder soldiers on. Windows and doors are in, roofs and outside cladding on. Interior lining, paint, finishing underway. Various people have donated curtains, duvets, etc. to be sure they are ready for – you! view photos

Vesak:May 11th. Closer than you think. Days of celebration like this are so joyous and uplifting with connections made on so many levels; dhamma, sila, social, cultural, food and etc. Reminders and details to come.
