Working Bee:The weather on Sunday morning was pretty miserable but it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of at least 20 people who came to help tidy up around the monastery. Labour W’end Retreat:Accommodation at the monastery is full but you are most welcome to come and join with any part of the schedule. Starting at 7pm on Friday 19th with walking and sitting meditation until 3.30pm on Monday 22nd.
Monastic Retreat:After the end of the weekend retreat the monastery residents will start a week of group meditation to bring the vassa to a close. There will be walking and sitting meditation throughout the day with the usual morning and evening pujas. You are welcome to join for any of this schedule. It will end on the full moon of October – Tuesday the 30th.
Local Visit:A group from St. Francis Xavier church in Stokes Valley came by for a visit to the monastery. view photos For most it was their first time here and all found it quite impressive. Well, it is 🙂
