VESAK

This Sunday… May 24th. Ajahn Tiradhammo and other visiting monks will join us as will the Thai Ambassador and his family. We are also hoping (not yet confirmed) that the Malaysian High Commissioner will attend. We celebrate the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and final passing which presents a powerful reflection on the main factor that makes our journey to nibbana possible. A joyful community gathering to express our gratitude and generate blessings. All are welcome.
Ajahn Tiradhammo

Safely arrived and will be staying with us until the 29th of May. He will be offering the Dhamma talk on Sunday evening (tea @5 puja@6) so do come for that. You would be most welcome to visit the monastery to meet with him during his visit – around meal time is probably best.
Queen’s Birthday Retreat

May 29th to Monday, June 1st. Accommodation has a (relatively short) waiting list. A semi-residential retreat so come for the day and return home in the evening. An investigation of non-perception. booking form
Web Site

They say rust never sleeps – the internet is even less still. With the plethora of digital devices web sites now need to be ‘responsive’ to adjust to the various screens. There is a new version of the monastery site which, hopefully, addresses this. Please let us know if you spot any bugs. Email with: device type (screen size), page address and what doesn’t work or looks funny. bug report
