Coinciding with the Asian monsoon season this period of monastic practice was established by the Buddha as an opportunity for the Sangha to give focused attention to dhamma and vinaya, both individually and communally. Most public activities will continue unchanged. You are always welcome to visit.

The Bodhinyanarama sangha will be travelling to Auckland to take part in the ATBA/Vimutti Kathina season celebration. We will leave on the 2nd November and return on the 8th. This means that there will be no monks in the monastery from the 2–8th Nov. so there will be no dana offering during those days. We resume on the 9th.
